Who we are and the origins of the project
The database is an output from two sECURE workshops kindly supported by sDiv, the Synthesis Centre of the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle‐Jena‐Leipzig (DFG FZT 118; WG 4.28 sECURE). The objective of providing a comprehensive database of butterfly traits is to provide a valuable resource for understanding trait evolution, the conservation of butterflies and their responses to past and current environmental changes.
